Throughout the three years, I've been attending Mr. Paterson's classes this year's course was by far the most shocking one. Out of all the things we covered in this course the three most important things I learned this year were the filter of ownership, the documentary "War Made Easy", and the Israel Palestine conflict. Out of the five filters of media of propaganda model by Noam Chomsky, I thought that ownership was the most important when trying to understand the media. Before taking this lesson I never thought about who owns the media. Not the company but the person who owns the media. There is a big difference between seeing the company or a person because people assume that a company can't have an "opinion" but a person can. The example of Fox News was very interesting.
